ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ Strengthens Partnership with FALAS and Engages AU Youth Programme at the FALAS–AU Conference

ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ participated in the FALAS–AU Conference held from 19th to 25th October 2025 at the African Union Headquarters in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The event brought together young lawyers and legal professionals from across the continent to explore leadership, justice, digital inclusion, and youth empowerment under the AU’s 1 Million Next Level Initiative.

Representing ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½, Country Manager, Kenya, Ms Winnie Rachael, MSc, served as one of the panelists during the session on Mentorship and Empowerment for Young Lawyers. In her address, she underscored the importance of mentorship and continuous learning as foundations for professional growth and leadership development. She also highlighted ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½â€™s role in bridging educational gaps across Africa by providing accessible, affordable, and internationally recognised degree programmes through its university partnerships.

Ms Rachael also shared the progress achieved under the ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½â€“FALAS partnership, noting key milestones such as joint webinars promoting access to quality higher education for law students and the establishment of a scholarship framework that enables FALAS members to pursue postgraduate studies through ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½â€™s partner universities.

The conference attracted delegates from over 40 African countries, including representatives from the African Union and other international organisations. It served as a valuable platform for networking, knowledge exchange, and enhanced brand visibility, allowing ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ to showcase its educational model and success stories to an influential audience.

A major outcome of ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½â€™s participation was the initiation of discussions with the African Union Youth Program on the potential adoption of ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½â€™s Corporate Scholarship Scheme (CSS), an opportunity that could evolve into a long-term institutional partnership aimed at empowering Africa’s next generation of leaders.
